Knives are one of the most important tools in the kitchen. In tonight’s knife skills class, Chef Ran will cover how to hold a knife safely, demonstrate different cutting techniques and discuss knife sharpening, storage and care. Receive a Wusthof chef’s knife to use in this workshop (included in class price). Everything that you chop up will be used to make a delicious curry at the end of class.

A graduate of Western University and Stratford Chefs School, Ran moved to Canada in 2002 from Beijing, China. Rooted in Chinese cuisine but trained in Classic French, Ran has worked in numerous restaurants with many types of international cuisines including French, Italian, and Japanese.
