Class Details

The special wine of Portugal, known as Port, is not only a wonderful fortified wine to sip on but it is also a great ingredient to add to dishes. Recently back from a culinary tour to Portugal, Jill will show you the various ways she incorporated port into dishes. Plus enjoy a port tasting so you can learn the difference between a Tawny, Ruby and Vintage Port.


 

Menu:

  • Port and Tonic Aperitif
  • Salad of Mixed Greens with Shredded Sao Jorge Cheese with Port Dressing
  • Pork Tenderloin in Prune, Fig, and Mushroom Port Sauce with “Punched” Potatoes
  • Port baked Pears with Port Ice Cream
