Class Details

Learn the joys of making your own pasta with Chef Ran Ai. She will walk you step-by-step through the pasta-making process, from making fresh pasta dough to forming different pasta shapes and the types of sauces to serve with each.



  • Basic Pasta Dough
  • Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sage Brown Butter and Pine Nuts
  • Pappardelle with Tomato, Turkey and Pea Ragu
  • Orecchiette with Ham, Leek and Parmesan Cream Sauce

    A graduate of Western University and Stratford Chefs School, Ran moved to Canada in 2002 from Beijing, China.

    Rooted in Chinese cuisine but trained in Classic French, Ran has worked in numerous restaurants with many types of international cuisines including French, Italian, and Japanese.
