Learn the joys of making your own pasta with chef Ran Ai in this technique-focused class. The evening will begin with you learning the tricks to making a basic pasta dough that can be turned into all kinds of amazing dishes.

Menu:

  • Basic Pasta Dough
  • Braised Lamb Tortellini in Brodo
  • Cavatelli with Spicy Tomato and Roasted Garlic Sauce and Housemade Ricotta
  • Pappardelle with Sausage, Wild Mushroom, Rosemary and Aged Balsamic Sauce

    A graduate of Western University and Stratford Chefs School, Ran moved to Canada in 2002 from Beijing, China.

    Rooted in Chinese cuisine but trained in Classic French, Ran has worked in numerous restaurants with many types of international cuisines including French, Italian, and Japanese.
