There are many techniques used to preserve food, some of which pre-date the dawn of agriculture. In this class, Chef Ran will show you three different techniques for preserving different vegetables to achieve something delicious that can be enjoyed at a later date.
Class includes: a box of Kosher salt, a bottle of Ponti apple cider vinegar and a portion of Korean Chili Pepper ($20 value)
- Crunchy Cucumber Kimchi – Salt Preserving (cook along)
- Assorted Pickled Vegetables – Vinegar Preserving (cook along)
- Roasted Tomato/Peppers in Olive oil – Oil Preserving (cook along)

About three to four days before the event, participants will receive:
• Class ID/URL and password
• Recipe package
• Shopping list
• Equipment list
